Description

A complete sound-shaping system for acoustic performers

Amplifying an acoustic instrument is never only about volume. It is about keeping the character of the instrument intact while gaining control over tone, dynamics, feedback, space, monitoring, and performance flow.

MFX HPM brings these tools together in one compact unit. Use it as an acoustic preamp, a live tone processor, a personal monitoring hub, a preset-based performance system, or a wireless-editable control center for your stage sound.

From pickup to performance

MFX HPM gives you the tools to refine every part of your amplified sound.

Shape the tone with EQ.
Control peaks with compression.
Clean up silence with the noise gate.
Add depth with octave.
Create space with delay and reverb.
Reduce feedback with AFC.
Blend two sources with the channel mixer.

Record, play, overdub, and save performance loops.
Use modelling processing when you want extra acoustic body and character.
Save your complete setup into presets and control it from the device, Web UI, or BLE MIDI controller.

Everything is designed to help your instrument sit better in the room, in the mix, and in your hands.

Dual-channel flexibility

MFX HPM is built around two independent input channels. Channel A can be used with a pickup or microphone, while Channel B is designed for microphone use and pickup/microphone combinations.

Use the Mix section to blend the two sources, match levels, clean up Channel B with filters, and invert phase when needed. Whether you are using a pickup, a mic, or both together, MFX HPM gives you practical control over the final sound.

Tone shaping that feels musical

The onboard EQ gives you both simple and precise control. Use low-cut to remove rumble, high-cut to soften harshness, and bass, mid, and high controls to shape the overall color of the instrument.

For deeper editing, the advanced EQ settings let you choose band frequencies and Q, so you can make broad musical changes or more focused corrections.

The goal is simple: less mud, less harshness, more clarity, more presence.

Feedback control for real stages

Feedback can appear quickly and unpredictably. MFX HPM includes AFC, an anti-feedback system designed to find and eliminate the issue.

Use Scan to catch feedback, Auto-scan to keep listening, Undo if a filter goes too far, or Reset All when you want to start fresh.

The AFC Position selector lets you apply anti-feedback processing to both Channel A and Channel B or to Channel B only. This is useful when the microphone needs feedback control, but you want to keep the pickup path untouched.

It helps you keep the performance under control without constantly fighting the room.

Dynamics, silence, and movement

MFX HPM includes a compressor, noise gate, octave, delay, and reverb — giving you the tools to shape how the instrument responds and how it sits in space.

Use the compressor to smooth peaks and bring consistency, and the noise gate to reduce unwanted low-level noise. Also, the octave to add weight and color, the delay for repeats, motion, or rhythmic depth, and the reverb to add air, room, and atmosphere.

From subtle polish to expressive sound design, the effects are there when the music needs them.

Modelling processing

MFX HPM also supports Soundboard modelling processing. Load, capture, adjust, upload, manage, and save perfect soundboard samples directly on the device or through the Web UI.

Use it when you want to add more body, resonance, or acoustic character to the amplified signal — without making it the only way to shape your sound.

Looper for performance and practice

The built-in Looper can record, play, overdub, undo the latest overdub, and clear a live loop. Auto Start can wait for the first detected input, while Quantize or Manual overdub modes let you choose how new layers begin and end.

Adjust loop level, overdub level, recording time, and varispeed from -7 to +7 semitones. Save loops in PCM16 or ADPCM format across 16 independent loop slots. Loop WAV files remain separate from normal presets, so performance recordings stay available when presets change.

Personal monitoring without changing the main output

Your headphone sound should help you play better without disturbing the front-of-house mix.

MFX HPM includes a dedicated headphones section with its own Volume, Wet/Dry balance, EQ, low-cut, high-cut, phase, limiter, mic mix, headphone reverb, and AFC amount. You can make your personal monitor clearer, warmer, safer, or more spacious while the main output remains unchanged.

The separate AMB and AUX inputs can also be mixed directly into the headphone path for ambient monitoring or an external monitor feed. They do not affect the main output.

The audience hears the performance.
You hear what helps you perform.

Wireless Web UI control

Turn on Wireless mode and open the Web UI from a phone, tablet, or computer. No dedicated app is required. Connect directly to the MFX-HPM access point, or use STA mode to place the device on an existing Wi-Fi network.

The Web UI gives you a larger and clearer way to control MFX HPM. Manage presets, adjust effects, view input/output meters and CPU load, edit EQ and SIR response plots, scan or edit AFC filters, select the AFC channel position, manage SIR/IR and loop WAV files, operate the Looper, use the tuner, configure headphones, and create MIDI mappings.

Choose the scrolling Dark skin or the performance-oriented Compact skin. Compact keeps effect tiles, direct performance dials, presets, loop slots, tuner information, and Looper transport controls close at hand. Page Zoom and Fullscreen help adapt the interface to different displays.

It is a deep editor at home and a practical control surface on stage.

Presets for songs, instruments, and venues

MFX HPM includes 16 preset slots for saving complete setups. Presets store effect parameters, bypass states, AFC filters, and channel position, main volume, mute, phase, headphone settings, tuner reference, and more.

Create one preset for a specific instrument, another for a difficult stage, another for a song that needs more ambience, and another for a pickup/microphone blend.

Then recall the sound when you need it.

BLE (or USB) MIDI for hands-free performance

MFX HPM supports several MIDI workflows:

Connect a BLE MIDI controller directly to the MFX HPM bridge.
Use USB MIDI in the Web UI to forward a controller connected to the host phone, tablet, or computer.
Use Host BLE in a compatible Web Bluetooth browser to connect a BLE-MIDI pedal directly through the Web UI.

Map footswitches, knobs, Program Change, Note, Pitch Bend, or Control Change messages to presets, mute, phase, volume, tuner, AFC scan and position, effect bypass, EQ, SIRloader, compressor, delay, reverb, headphone controls, Looper transport, and all 16 Looper slots.

Headless mode can reconnect a bonded BLE MIDI pedal for performance without keeping the Web UI active. MIDI Monitor and Learn make it easier to identify incoming controls and build mappings.

Your hands stay with the music.
Your sound still moves with you.

Why MFX HPM?

Because acoustic tone needs both character and control

An amplified acoustic instrument can be beautiful, but it can also be fragile. Too much bass becomes mud. Too much treble becomes harsh. Feedback steals confidence. Bad monitoring makes playing harder. A pickup alone may not always provide the full feeling of the instrument.

MFX HPM is designed for the space between instrument and audience. It gives you the tools to refine, protect, monitor, loop, and recall your sound—so your amplified instrument feels more natural, expressive, and reliable.
